I grew up in Coos Bay with salt in the air and sand in everything, and moved to Douglas County in my early twenties. It took about one spring — fog lifting off the oak hills, horses grazing in valleys that glow gold by June — to know I was never leaving.

My life here is the one my clients are shopping for. My horses are in my pasture; my dogs ride in my truck; weekends are barrel races, trail rides, rivers, and hunting seasons. When I walk a property with you, I'm not reciting listing features — I'm kicking at the arena footing, eyeballing the hay storage, and noticing that the pasture drainage will make February miserable.
